These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Leadmeteor's website, Chrome extension, API, and related services (together, the "Service"), provided by Leadmeteor ("Leadmeteor," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Leadmeteor helps you find and verify professional email addresses and other publicly available contact and company information. This includes a website and dashboard, a Chrome extension that runs alongside pages like LinkedIn and company websites, an API, and background systems that gather publicly available data from the web. We call all of this the "Service."
To use most of the Service, you need an account. You can sign in with Google or Microsoft. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything that happens under it. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account without permission.
Some features are free, and some require a paid plan. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, and we may charge you automatically on a recurring basis until you cancel. Credits and usage limits work as described on our pricing page at the time you sign up. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise. You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
When using Leadmeteor, you agree that you will:
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you've violated these rules.
Leadmeteor finds and verifies emails and other information using a mix of public data, third-party providers, and automated checks. We work hard to keep this accurate, but we can't guarantee that every email we find is correct, deliverable, or up to date, or that every verification result is right. You're responsible for how you use the data we provide.
Our Chrome extension runs as a side panel and reads publicly visible content on pages you choose to visit (such as LinkedIn profiles or company websites) to help you find contact information. It doesn't run in the background on pages you're not actively viewing.
We rely on other companies to help provide the Service, including cloud infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, and data-enrichment providers. Your use of the Service may also be subject to their terms, to the extent they interact with your data.
Leadmeteor and its logo, design, and underlying technology belong to us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own business purposes, subject to these Terms. You keep ownership of any data you upload or import into Leadmeteor.
You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service, in which case we'll try to give you reasonable notice.
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leadmeteor won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know (for example, by email or an in-app notice). Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
